GUIDES
Last updated: 20 October 2026FASHION SHOOTS AND CONTENT
A fashion brand’s shoot is not a single job: campaign, editorial, e-commerce and social content serve different goals. This guide explains which shoot you need and when, how to prepare, and where real shooting and hybrid production differ.
01Shoot types fashion brands need
- Campaign and lookbook. The shoot that builds the collection’s story and brand perception. Concept, styling and model come first.
- Editorial. A more artistic, magazine-like shoot that shows the brand’s aesthetic stance.
- E-commerce product and catalog. A sales-focused shoot where the product must appear in the right color, texture and fit.
- Runway and events. Recording a moment; speed and the right framing decide.
- Social media content. Reels, behind-the-scenes and short videos; needs regular production.
02Choosing the right shoot for the goal
Define the goal first: do you want to strengthen brand perception, increase sales or keep social media fed regularly? Campaign shoots feed perception, e-commerce shoots feed conversion and social content feeds consistency. Content serving several purposes can be planned within one shoot day; so write down where the content will be used (website, ads, social media, e-commerce) before the shoot.
03Shoot preparation checklist
- Collection list. Which products will be shot, and in what order of priority?
- Visual references. Moodboard, color and light preferences, shoots you like.
- Styling and accessories. Outfits, shoes and accessories should be settled in advance.
- Model and crew. If a real model is used, consent processes are planned from the start.
- Location. At the brand’s location or in a studio?
- Output formats. The ratios and sizes needed for e-commerce, ads and social media should be listed before the shoot.
04Real shooting or hybrid production?
In campaign and editorial work, real shooting stands out for direction and performance. For constantly renewed collections that need many product images and variations, the hybrid method, which combines real shooting with AI-assisted production under human control, can provide speed and scale. We explain the difference in detail in our hybrid production guide. Which one fits depends on the brand and the job.
05How we run fashion shoots
We can shoot at the brand’s location or at our partner studio, Bayraktar Studios. Because shooting, content, social media and ads are in the same team, the images are planned from the start for the website, ads and posting formats. See our photo and video production service for details.
06Examples of our fashion work

08Frequently asked questions
Which type of shoot does a fashion brand need?
It depends on the goal. Campaign and editorial shoots build brand perception, e-commerce product shoots drive sales and social content keeps the feed active. Most brands need a mix; the shoot plan is built around the goals.
Where do you shoot?
Shoots can take place at the brand’s location or at our partner studio, Bayraktar Studios.
Is hybrid production necessary for every fashion project?
No. In campaign and editorial work, real shooting comes first. Hybrid production can be an advantage when many product images and variations are needed. Which one fits is decided together based on the brief.
For how long can I use the content after the shoot?
Delivered content belongs to the brand; you can use it with no time or channel limits. See our working terms for details.
How many revisions do I get?
Every job includes 2 rounds of revisions.
